Who would of thought such a simple outfit with basic elements consisting of a solid three quarter sleeve and denim shorts could look so effortlessly adorable?
The added elements of the bracelets, lip and nail color, sunnies, and especially the floral headpiece really pull this look together. Her hair is also perfect for this look. I like the soft color palette and love how everything fits together. Styling works wonders. = )
Relax mode to Beast mode
I finally had the opportunity to visit my previous hometown- Orlando, Florida during my short two week break (emphasis on short) in between my quarters at FIDM in Los Angeles. It was great: I got to see family members, old friends, and the love of my life. It was both relaxing and refereshing and most definitely needed after a brutal 2nd quarter. If you talked to me you probably noticed how stressed I was from the intensity of school and work while running on little to no sleep at times. But I am proud to say that I MADE IT with straight A’s, but I won’t mention how many of those A minuses. I’m not an over-achiever or anything but you gotta admit those minuses are pretty annoying.
Travelling back to LA, I had a feeling of reluctance. I didn’t feel ready to go back. I felt as if there was just so much I was leaving behind. I was able to snap out of it though thinking about the future I’m working towards. Los Angeles is the place that I need to be to get ahead. Orlando is the place I can come back to to relax. But in LA there is no time to be nostalgic- it’s game on. So I lift my head up, lose the frown, and put my game face on. Ready for round 3.
